Celebration
Developed by the Walt Disney Company, Celebration, Florida is a small, quaint housing community located about 30 minutes south of downtown Orlando. The 16 acre town has a storybook atmosphere that was modeled after small American towns of the early 1900’s. Things to do in Celebration
Celebration is minutes from Downtown Orlando and Downtown Disney, where an abundance of unique restaurants and specialty shops can be found. Celebration residents looking to stay closer to home enjoy nightly entertainment at Celebration’s own movie theater. Residents also have access to one of Orlando’s most beautiful golf courses. Celebration Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course designed with a park-like atmosphere and surrounded by wetland environments. Celebration plays host to many events throughout the year such as an art show, an exotic car festival, the annual Radio Disney Holiday concert, Oktoberfest, the “Great American Pie Festival” , a “Posh Pooch” Festival, and several downtown events during the Autumn and Christmas seasons where they release fall leaves, and “snow” into the town center. There’s also a large Fourth of July fireworks. Celebration residents are also near Discovery Cove, a popular facility where visitors can swim with dolphins, snorkel among thousands of tropical fish, and hand-feed exotic birds.
